Freedom 250 Grand Prix Tickets

General Admission tickets to the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, August 22-23, are free. The Grand Prix venue will feature fan access in two separate areas. A General Admission ticket will be required to access either the STARS Ticket Area or the STRIPES Ticket Area. A ticket to one area will not grant access to the other area.

How to Request Free General Admission Tickets

  • The window to request Freedom 250 Grand Prix General Admission (GA) tickets runs through Sunday, June 7. During this period, anyone interested in obtaining free GA tickets to the Freedom 250 Grand Prix will need to follow the steps below. Requests will be selected by Ticketmaster random drawing, and registrants will be notified by email whether or not their requested tickets can be fulfilled
  • Fans will be able to log-in to their Ticketmaster account and submit ticket requests by following the prompts on the page
  • Registrants will be able to prioritize which Freedom 250 Grand Prix ticket type they can request for the event
    • Two-Day Ticket, granting access to both Saturday and Sunday (Aug. 22-23)
    • Single-Day Ticket, for Saturday access only (Aug 22)
    • Single-Day Ticket, for Sunday access only (Aug 23)
  • Fans will be assigned tickets to one of the two Freedom 250 Grand Prix ticketed areas – either the STARS Ticket Area or the STRIPES Ticket Area (see map above and descriptions below for each ticket location)
  • Based on anticipated high demand for tickets to the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, each fan will be eligible to secure a maximum of four (4) free General Admission tickets per day
  • All tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold. Fans should only request the total amount of tickets they plan to use
  • Ticket requests will be selected by random drawing, and registrants will be notified by email whether or not their requested tickets have been fulfilled. Submitting a request does not guarantee you will receive tickets
  • NOTE: While all Freedom 250 Grand Prix General Admission tickets are free, fans will be required to provide payment information to request tickets through the drawing. This is for verification purposes only to eliminate automated software/programs and help ensure cyber security. A temporary authorization hold, usually under $1, will be placed on each person’s credit or debit card and this hold fee will be removed from the card once verification has been confirmed

Ticket Fulfillment

  • The ticket request period will close at 11:59 pm ET on Sunday, June 7
  • At the conclusion of the ticket request period, Ticketmaster will begin to process the requests and registrants will be notified by e-mail whether or not their tickets have been fulfilled
  • It may take a few days for those that have requested tickets through the drawing to receive an e-mail. For those that have their requests filled, digital tickets will be sent to their Ticketmaster accounts closer to the event

STARS Ticket Area

This area is located outside of the track, between 12th Street and 7th Street, south of Pennsylvania Ave. This area is highlighted in blue on the map above and will require a STARS Ticket Area Ticket to access.

STRIPES Ticket Area

This area is located primarily inside of the track, between 7th Street and 3rd Street and between Pennsylvania Ave. and Independence Ave. Limited viewing is also available within this ticket area North of Pennsylvania Ave., and South of Independence Ave. This area is highlighted in red on the map above and will require a STRIPES Ticket Area Ticket to access.

Additional Ticket Information

  • A limited number of grandstands and viewing platforms will be available throughout both GA ticketed areas, on a first-come, first-served basis, with no reserved grandstand seating
  • Both ticketed areas will feature multiple large video screens for race viewing along with concession stands, merchandise locations and fan activities
  • ADA seating will also be available throughout the venue and near each grandstand. ADA viewing platforms will be available in both ticketed areas of the venue. All ADA seating will also be available on a first-come, first-served basis
  • General Admission Tickets will not provide access to the INDYCAR Paddock (garage area) or Pit Lane
  • No Paddock or Pit Passes will be available for the Freedom 250 Grand Prix, due to space restrictions
  • Fans of all ages will be required to have a ticket for admission to the venue
